Sew it seams...

that it's time for me to dilly-daddle
with a Singer...

I was gifted this beautiful old singer sewing machine
and the thoughts of sewing are creeping into my head and actually
exciting little brain cells+~
Bags, monsters, hankerchief Quilts!
ooohlalala!
As i collect larger amounts of time in the day,
i think i'll enjoy creating this way.
:)
I think the first thing i'll attempt is some
little knickers for poppy!
She's growing up sooo fast! It was time to put a summer dress on
today, she looked so cute!
It's been hot here
and the garden we've been working on is progressing somewhat slowly
because the days are too hot and the mornings and evenings too busy
but i have lovely visions in my mind for it...
raised in the middle with the fairy fountain and herbs
and flowers throughout!
Willow enjoys digging in the dirt though
so it's not totally pointless

She found a worm today and made it her pet, she has a tendency to love
caterpillars and worms a little too much.
eep, poor things, this one was happy in its new worm home
safely out of her 'loving' fingers.
The heat brought on a brief storm
and this was Willow under her red umbrella that
pappy bought her.
It reminds me of my childhood sitting in a red umbrella with
eileen and cassandra, eating bananas
with mum's bright bright red lipstick on.
ahhhh, the red was scrum-diddle-umptious!

;)

That's a fine looking Singer, just waiting for a creative spirit! It'll be so much fun sewing all sorts of things for your girls!
A mandala garden, worms, a red umbrella, baby dresses - happy times ..... lovely!
